Not quite sure how I ended up here, fully-clad with a newly created substack, just to read and comment on your work. But it’s very well done. Your words sing and cry and howl, clench their teeth, sigh the softest sighs, and sometimes smile. It’s so refreshing to see your mental wanderings, to contemplate them as if they were one’s own. It’s reminiscent of watching leaves drift down upon a cloud-filled stream. Maybe that’s too sententious. But it’s something like that. Anyhow, I really enjoy your work. Looking forward to your future posts.
Tu parles français? 🇫🇷 Debussy or Ravel? (I picture you writing au solitude to the second livre of Debussy Préludes, après minuit, naturellement.)
The Ira Glass quote is spot-on. Keep writing.
Je parle un peu! Debussy, bien sûr—j'adore Deux Arabesques. Merci d'avoir lu ceci :)
good luck!
