Like any new technology that enters our lives, it can either empower us or make us dependent. It all depends on what we use it for and, more importantly, how we use it.
More than ever, we need people to work to guide those who don't know how to use it properly. To create a set of principles so that those with less knowledge or simply less interest in the subject can benefit from that expertise to improve their lives on this planet.
All of us who work with technology have a responsibility to make this work. In the last 20-30 years we've been in a huge technological transition and I think we're going to get to a point where we learn to live with technology without it stealing our souls.
